OrderLite
A Memory Game By Zhino Yousefi and Ellie Huang
This memory game features a soft felt cover and incorporates LEDs and sound indicators to create an interactive and enjoyable experience. The game's fundamental concept revolves around the display of a sequence of LEDs in a specific order. Players are then challenged to memorize and accurately replicate this sequence with provided buttons. As players progress, the game can introduce different and more complex sequences, increasing the level of difficulty.
Objective: Our objective with this project is to create an engaging memory game accessible to individuals who may not be comfortable with computer-based gaming. By combining electronics with a user-friendly felt cover, we aim to provide an inclusive gaming experience that promotes memory enhancement and cognitive stimulation.
Technology: The game's core technology consists of electronic components, primarily logic gates, LEDs and sound modules.
Key Features:
LED Sequences: The game initiates with LED lights displaying a sequence. The sequences can vary in length and complexity, challenging players to remember and replicate them accurately.
User Interaction: Players interact with the game by repeating the displayed sequence. This interaction fosters cognitive engagement and memory improvement.
Feedback Indicators: Upon player input, the game provides immediate feedback through light and sound indicators. Successful replication is rewarded with a positive indicator, while an incorrect response triggers a distinct indicator to signify a mistake.
